The Rabbinical Council of Greater Washington is the only organization of Orthodox rabbis in the greater Washington, D.C area. It is responsible for kashrut supervision, maintains a Beth Din for dealing with matters affecting Jewish family status and other services essential to the traditional Jewish community, such as a city-wide chevrah kadisha.

Bike & Brunch is a mostly Jewish, mostly single, bike club which enjoys rides in the Washington DC-Baltimore area April through November. The season also features monthly happy hours, weekday rides during the summer, and spring and fall weekend trips.

Jewish American Society for Historic Preservation promotes and sponsors, recognition of local sites of Jewish Historical interest through a plaqueing program.
