- I discussed the nosologic position of this entity in a course at the American Academy of Neurology Meetings in Philadelphia on May 4, 2001. It is clear now that most of the cases of acute third nerve palsy and headache formerly referred to as ophthalmoplegic migraine show MRI enhancement of the nerve.
