The Crop and Soil Sciences Department is comprised of 34 Graduate Faculty members whose research efforts are equally distributed between crop and soil sciences. All levels of degrees are offered, from B.S. to Ph.D.
The department offers graduate instruction leading to the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in the following areas: Agronomy, Soil Chemistry and Fertility, Soil Physical Chemistry, Soil Genesis, Classification and Soil Mineralogy, Soil Management and Soil Productivity, Soil Physics and Agrometeorology, Soil Microbiology, and Environmental Chemistry of Pesticides and Related Compounds.
