The Journal of Comparative Psychology publishes original empirical and theoretical research from a comparative perspective on the behavior, cognition, perception, and social relationships of diverse species.

The purposes of the Division are to: promote teaching and research in the fields of behavioral neuroscience and comparative psychology, stimulate the exchange of information among its members and other branches of psychology and scientific endeavors, and provide forums and publications for communicating scientific findings and concepts.
