ASOHNS is the representative organisation for Ear Nose and Throat Head and Neck Surgeons in Australia, and dates from 1950. ASOHNS Members are Specialist Surgeons who investigate and treat conditions of the ear, nose, throat, and neck.

The Australian Orthopaedic Association is now 60 years old and currently there are 884 members. The Association is involved with maintaining standards of orthopaedic surgery within Australia. The Association conducts a quality assurance programme, regular continuing orthopaedic education meetings for its members and guests, and conducts a training programme for orthopaedic trainees to become specialists in orthopaedics on behalf of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
