Morningstar Golf Course - Morningstar Golf Course is located between the Island Highway and the Straights of Georgia in the historic Eaglecrest section of Qualicum Beach. Starting at the rustic log clubhouse, the golf course meanders through the Eaglecrest and Oceanside waterfront subdivisions.

The Nanaimo Clippers play in the British Columbia Hockey League (B.C.H.L.), a division of the Canadian Junior "A" Hockey League.
