Mithymna or Molivos is the capital of the Province of Mithymna. Mithymna and the contiguous villages of Skala Sykamnia, Sykamnia, Lepetymnos, Argenos, Vafios and rural area of Eftalou comprise the present Municipality of Mithymna.
