The mission of the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting (AALU) is to monitor, develop and present legislation and regulation in the areas of advanced life underwriting, so as to serve the best interests of its members and the general public. It is also the mission of AALU to provide education and leadership in sustaining and improving the business environment for those engaged in advanced life underwriting.

Founded in 1981, The National Association of Independent Life Brokerage Agencies (NAILBA) is a non-profit, trade association dedicated to serving the interests of value-added, independently-owned life brokerage agencies throughout the United States and North America.
