The National Association of Black Journalists, a membership and advocacy association, is the nation's oldest and largest media organization for people of color. NABJ has 3, 300 members and more than 110 professional and student chapters nationwide. Members also live in Africa, Europe, and the Caribbean. NABJ was founded in 1975. The University of Maryland is home to the national office.
