Professor Earl Owen is a microsurgeon whose practice includes vasectomy reversals and female tubal sterilisation reversals. Professor Owen led the first hand transplantation team in Lyon France, September 1998.
After graduating from the University of Melbourne in 1972 with a M.B.B.S., Peter spent the next 9 years gaining specialist experience both in Australia and overseas. In 1980, he became a fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons. Peter is also a member of The Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He has written numerous articles for the Australian Medical Journal and other publications.
Dr Lewkovitz is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh). He holds the Diploma of Laryngology and Otology, Royal College of Surgeons (London). He is an International Fellow of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
