Each summer Edmonton is the proud host of a ten-day long Festival of Events which salutes the spirit of the 1890's Goldrush. This spirit serves as a reminder of the strong and tenacious pioneering drive early Edmontonians adopted to enable them to strive to make our City what it is today. This community drive, involvement, and spirit of the past was strong, and it still exists today.
