From its beginnings in 1939 as the Ontario Secondary School Teachers Fraternal Society, this organization evolved to a point that its membership included all teachers in the various educational organizations of Ontario. Teachers Life has a full time staff and is managed by a Board of Directors consisting of both active and retired teachers.
