Vallejo Transit provides local bus service in Vallejo and express service between Fairfield, Suisun City, Solano College, Vallejo, Hercules and the El Cerrito Del Norte BART station.

Sonoma County Transit, with a fleet of 52 buses, will soon be celebrating 20 years of service. The transit system operates 16 buses powered by clean natural gas and a natural gas fueling facility. Last Year, Sonoma County Transit provided over 1.45 million passenger trips on 22 routes linking all cities and most small communities within the county.
