The EHS, headquartered in the Charles Gates Dawes House, a National Historic Landmark, is the repository of artifacts and documents reflecting the diverse and unique history of Evanston, Illinois. The mansion is former home of the United States Vice President, international statesman, and Nobel laureate Charles Gates Dawes.
