Humane Society of Missouri is committed to the prevention of cruelty, abuse and neglect of animals through its Adoption Centers, Veterinary Medical Centers, Large-Animal Rehabilitation Center, Rescue and Investigation units and Community Outreach and Education programs.

Organization provides shelter for homeless, abandoned and stray animals while actively seeking loving, permanent homes for them; advocates humane treatment and encourages spaying and neutering of animals through ongoing education in the community and in the schools.
