Association for Social History was founded as non-partisan, non-government, non-profit organization in Belgrade, FR Yugoslavia in 1998. Its work is open to public and its main goals are: # researching of social history - mainly in Serbia, Yugoslavia and South-East Europe in XIX and XX century # working on projects in field of social history, publishing scientific works and historical documents on social history # cooperation with similar organizations in the world and work on mutual projects # organizing scientific meetings, seminars and panels on issues concerning social history
