Dedicated to the clinical practice, research and teaching of the art and science of obstetrics and gynecology.

This department provides emergency as well as out-patient and in-patient services and is a referral centre for obstetrics and gynaecology. It is involved with undergraduate, postgraduate and professional teaching of medical students, nurses, midwives and technologists in obstetrics, gynaecology, nursing, midwifery and related medical sciences.
