Welcome to the Bates College math department home page! On the right is Hathorn Hall, where the math department is located. It's not quite so new as Pettengill Hall. Indeed, Hathorn Hall is the oldest academic building on campus. We share it with many of the language department people. Our building coordinator (receptionist/secretary/building manager) is Georgette Dumais; her office is room 200.
