About the Fort Wayne Komets hockey team and their history since 1952. In the fall of 2001, the Fort Wayne Komets will start their fiftieth consecutive season of play. It will mark the season in the United Hockey League, after forty-seven seasons in the International Hockey League. This site is about that history, and the people who have been a part of it.
