California State University, Los Angeles, founded in 1947 by action of the California State Legislature, is a comprehensive university that offers programs of higher education in more than 50 academic and professional fields. The University is organized into six schools that house nearly 50 academic departments and divisions.
The North American Integration and Development (NAID) Center was created to conduct ongoing research concerning NAFTA and North American integration, and to assist communities and governments with policies and investment projects for sustainable and equitable development across borders. Towards this goal, the NAID Center seeks to build linkages among a wide variety of institutions and organizations in North America.
