NFPA is a trade association of 250 U.S. and multinational manufacturers of hydraulic and pneumatic products and systems. Fluid power products make use of a liquid (in hydraulics) or a gas (in pnuematics) to provide power transmission and motion control for industrial and mobile machinery of all types.

The CFPA represents Canadian manufacturers and distributors of fluid power products.
