- MOHOLY-NAGY, Laszlo (1895, Bacsborsod - 1946, Chicago) Painter, photograph and art critic. He first took up law, but later he learnt painting. His works were first exhibited in the National Salon in 1918. After 1919 he lived in Vienna, then in Berlin where he joined groups of progressive ideas ( Ma and Gestaltung-Group ).
