We enjoy all the pomp and pageantry that come with being a state capital...the marble halls, the monuments, and the gorgeous capitol grounds. Surrounding the stately dome, there is still a small town at heart.
The Hands on Children's Musuem is the fun place to be for kids 10 years old and under. Right now the museum exhibits focus on the oceans and the fish, animals, and plants that live there. It's called Ocean Odyssey, and we have lots of suggestions about where to find information and pictures from the internet about whales and seals and other ocean life.
