The Ketchikan campus, the oldest campus in the region, was established as Ketchikan Community College in 1954 and merged into UAS in 1987. It is located in Alaska's "First City" and regards itself as the Salmon Capital of the World. The campus awards both certificates of completion and associate degrees.
