Farm Sanctuary is America's premier farm animal protection organization. It operates farm animal shelters in upstate New York and northern California, and it wages campaigns to stop factory farming and animal abuse. The organization has an active visitor and education program, and promotes vegetarian and vegan lifestyles.

The Economic Opportunity Program Inc. provides services for residents of Chemung and Schuyler Counties. Such as: Head Start, Child Care Referral, Energy Services, Teen Programs, GED preperation, a Homeless Shelter and operates the Ernie Davis Community Center.
