The City Church is an autonomous local church built on the pattern of the New Testament. It was pioneered in 1992 by Pastor Wendell Smith as an outreach of City Bible Church (formerly Bible Temple) from Portland, Oregon and is apostolically accountable to Pastor Dick Iverson, associated with the Minister's Fellowship International (MFI), and operated by a Board of Elders.
