The association serves as the largest training organization for school resource officers, school based police and district personnel in the Nation. This is the official NASRO website.

TASDP is affiliated with the Texas Municipal Police Association so as to accord to the school district police greater access to professional training; to have greater opportunities for a legislative agenda; and, to enable members to receive legal representation in times of personal need.
